This is the theme song of the TV series, Outlander,  with lyrics written by Bear McCreary to reference Claire, the heroine. .

The TV theme is an adapted version of a lovely traditional Scottish melody, Skye Boat Song,  which tells of the flight of Bonnie Prince Charlie after the disaster of Culloden in 1745.

If you wish to try a simpler version of the same song in a slightly higher key, search “Skye Boat Song” which has the original lyrics.
