Cat Stevens (Yusuf Islam) considers this his favourite of his old songs. He recounts being on a beach in Spain on a beautiful night under a glowing moon when he looked down and saw his shadow cast by the moon. Having grown up in London with its street lamps he had never seen that before. The song is from 1970 when he was still known as Cat Stevens.
