This lovely traditional Scottish melody tells of the flight of Bonnie Prince Charlie after the disaster of Culloden in 1745.

Many people will recognize this song as the theme of the TV series Outlander. In the tv series, the lyrics have been re-written by Bear McCreary to reference Claire, the heroine. This version uses the original lyrics.
