This poignant and beautiful song by Don McLean, is a tribute to the Dutch artist, Vincent Van Gogh. Although it is often called “Starry, Starry Night”, its original title was “Vincent”. I find a large part of the second half difficult to play well. If you feel the same way, try the abridged version. Forgive me Don McLean, but you set a very high bar. Listen to him do it. Wonderful.
