This melancholy ballad was written by Neil Young and released as a single in 1970. An unconfirmed story is that the song was written for Graham Nash after his breakup with Joni Mitchell. I have not tabbed this song exactly as Young sings it. but rather abridged it. The melody lines is quite repetitive; it works well with the nuanced harmonies of Young and his backup singers, but not so well with just the strumstick.
