Tears In Heaven

A song with a very sad story attached. When Eric Clapton wrote this with Will Jennings, he was thinking of the death of his 4-year old son, Conor, who fell from window of a New York apartment building while staying with his mother’s friend. The song appeared on the soundtrack of the 1991 film “Rush”. Jennings said of co-writing the song, “This is a song so personal and so sad, that it is unique in my experience of writing songs.”
