This song was first recorded by Bing Crosby in 1931 and it stayed on the pop charts for six weeks.
It is not the excellent song of the same name by Bruce Springsteen which he wrote and recorded in 1984. On a side note, there actually nine different songs called “Dancing in the Dark” released at different times by various other artists.
